City New Year's Eve Without Fireworks

Gdańsk once again invites you to its free New Year's Eve celebrations in two locations: Jar Wilanowski in Chełm and at the pier in Brzeźno. Out of concern for animals, the city is forgoing fireworks displays. The event will focus on concerts, multimedia shows, and illuminations that reference the history of Gdańsk.

What You Need to Know: Entry is free. Both stages will feature local and national bands, and a multimedia welcome to the New Year is planned for midnight.

Public Transport: On 31 December and 1 January, additional bus and tram lines will be running. Special buses will operate during the night, and the night tram (line N0) will run from 11:00 PM to 4:00 AM.

Arrive Early: In Brzeźno, right by the pier, you can also admire illuminations and decorations inspired by the city's history.
